SIM not supported made no sense until the carrier module explained the activation policy. The contact script got me to the right department on the first call.
Michael C.Carrier lock
Clear videos, tool links that were not random APKs, and a team that answered when my iPad model did not match the screenshot.
Emma W.Activation lock
I thought I needed a $200 clean IMEI service. The guide showed it was a finance flag and what documents the carrier wanted.

How FRP works

Why Android asks for the previous Google account

Factory Reset Protection ties an Android phone to the Google accounts that were on it before the wipe. After reset, setup demands that account. That is the intended anti-theft design, and it also locks out buyers of used phones.

What the verification screen is checking

FRP stores the previous Google identity in protected storage. A factory reset does not remove it. Setup will not finish until that account signs in or a brand-specific method clears the protection.

Brand paths differ

Samsung, Pixel, Motorola, and older LG devices do not share one bypass. Android version matters as much as brand. The guides split methods by those two facts instead of a generic video sequence.

Official Google account recovery first

If you still control the previous Gmail, Google account recovery is the clean path. Sign in on the verification screen or reset the password at accounts.google.com. A used phone where the seller vanished is a different problem. Brand tools cannot replace an account you are not allowed to use.

  • Try official Google account recovery before any bypass tool
  • Samsung, Pixel, and Motorola do not share one method
  • Most FRP paths wipe the phone again

Used Android buying checks

Watch the seller complete setup to the home screen, then factory reset and set the phone up again. If Google account verification appears, do not pay. UnlockMaker FRP guides are for owners and authorized buyers, not for phones that fail that test.
